Admission to IE University requires several steps which are detailed below:

1st step:
Online application

First, you will need to complete the admission form. It contains all the essential information to guide you through the process. In this form, you will fill in all your personal and academic information.

Your request is subject to a non-refundable entrance fee of 120 €. This deposit is mandatory, and your application will not be considered by the admission committee until the admission fee has been paid.

Your application file can be saved at any time during the process but must be completed within a maximum of one month.

Take this as an opportunity to showcase your qualities and personality. Once you have submitted the registration form and paid the admission fee, you will receive an email instructing you to complete an online evaluation. During this task, you will answer questions to demonstrate how you would be a valuable asset to the IEU community. The evaluation will take about 20 to 30 minutes.

Important information

As a future student at IE University, you must be fluent in English. In addition, to obtain your diploma, you must have a satisfactory knowledge of Spanish (minimum level B1). Although you may submit certificates as proof of your level of English (e. g. TOEFL), your skills will be tested throughout the admission process.

A portfolio of creative work is required for the Bachelor of Architecture and Bachelor of Design programs. Applicants must provide examples of their projects, illustrating their creativity, artistic talent, and design skills.
